We had some friends visit us over the summer that had spent a week just outside of Barcelona before making their way down the coast, and they made my mouth water with their tales of heaving plates of prawns stir fried with the sauce of your choice, and row upon row of delicious Asian food, all for around ten euros.

A brisk stroll in the chilly December air brought us to a restaurant I frequently pass in the Alicante Golf area of Playa San Juan, it is part of a family owned chain of restaurants and what we call "Everything" shops, we had a splendid A La Carte experience last year at their first restaurant in the village of Saint Joan, and we were not disappointed at the buffet restaurant.
